Each year, the Toowoomba Mountaineers represent TBA in Basketball Queensland’s Queensland State League (QSL) competition.

QSL provides a competitive senior representative environment for emerging players ready to take the next step in their basketball development, alongside experienced athletes continuing to compete at a high level.

Junior Representative Basketball

Our Junior Mountaineers compete in Basketball Queensland’s Southern Queensland Junior Basketball Competition (SQJBC), providing young players with the opportunity to develop their skills, represent Toowoomba and progress through the representative pathway.

Building the Mountaineers Pathway

These competitions form an important part of the Mountaineers player pathway, giving developing athletes the opportunity to test themselves in junior and senior basketball and continue progressing towards higher levels of the game.

For the Mountaineers, SQJBC and QSL is also about representing Toowoomba with pride and building a strong program that our players can aspire to be part of.
